Ali Abdelaziz Is Looking To Make Khabib vs GSP
Recently Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz said that Khabib wants to fight three times in the next eleven months, including a matchup with Georges St-Pierre next April.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Abdelaziz said that he has spoken to GSP about the fight and has a plan to make the fight happen.
“I talked to Georges, I talked to Georges a couple of days ago. And I told him ‘Georges, we want to make this plan'”.
“Khabib’s dream fight is Georges St-Pierre. Georges St-Pierre’s dream fight is Khabib. If the UFC and Georges can get a deal done, we’ll be more than happy to do it. It would be such an honour to fight a legend like that.”
GSP retired in February, citing the reason that the UFC wouldn’t give him the Khabib fight. The former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion has since left the USADA testing pool. Meaning that he would need to enter the testing pool again, before he could step foot inside the Octagon.
Do you think this fight will happen next year?
