An Upset Kevin Lee Reacts To UFC Rochester Loss To RDA
In the main event of UFC Rochester, Kevin Lee made his welterweight debut, taking on the former UFC lightweight champion, Rafael dos Anjos.
Unfortunately for Lee, the result didn’t go the way he planned and he was submitted by RDA in the fourth round.
Following the loss, a clearly upset Lee took to Instagram to post this video.
“Don’t know what happened out there tonight. I thought I did everything right leading up to this fight. Tried to eliminate every little distraction, everything that wasn’t good for me. I swear I felt like something, everything was falling into place, was talking to me even before I got out there, and it still wasn’t enough.
“This s*** sometimes be like the highest highs and lowest lows, it should really make you question what you believe in. I don’t know, I’ve been through a lot of s*** in my life. This ain’t really gonna be s***.”
The loss to RDA was his second straight loss, having lost to Al Iaquinta in his last fight at lightweight. It’s the first time the 26 year old has lost fights back to back.
