We haven’t posted about Ben Askren trolling anyone on Twitter for a little while. At one point, it was almost a daily feature. A feature we could have named ‘Who has Ben Askren trolled today?’

However, the unbeaten welterweight took to Twitter earlier today to troll Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis.

First to come under fire was the younger Diaz brother, who had told Ariel Helwani that he was moving back up to welterweight because he was the king of the UFC lightweight division (which you can read all about that here). This was all the ammunition Askren needed to take aim at Nate.

A few hours later, ‘Funky’ took part in an impromptu ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) on Twitter, whilst he was ‘bored on a plane’. One of the questions he was asked was how scared he would be if Nate called him out.

Askren also stated that he would be willing to go bald in a heartbeat, if it meant that Dillon Danis could never speak again.

During the AMA, the former ONE Championship and Bellator champion also stated the Douglas Lima is the toughest opponent he’s ever faced, that he thinks Demetrious Johnson is the greatest of all time, predicted Henry Cejudo will beat Marlon Moraes and Israel Adesanya will beat Robert Whittaker, and that if he could fight one UFC legend in their prime, it would be Matt Hughes.
