At BKFC 6, former UFC fighter Artem Lobov finally got his hands on his arch nemesis, Paulie Malignaggi. Considering the fact that Paulie is a former world champion, many expected Malignaggi to put up a strong showing, and in the end, Lobov out-pointed the former boxer to win the contest by unanimous decision.
Leading up to the fight, there was genuine animosity between both the competitors. Malignaggi even spat on, and slapped Lobov during the lead up. With both men finally stepping into the ring last night at BKFC 6, the fans were excited for the contest. In the end, it was Artem Lobov who walked out with his hand raised.

While many expected Conor McGregor to be in Artem’s corner, the Irishman wasn’t present for the fight. The bad blood between Paulie Malignaggi and Artem Lobov started after the former world champion talked trash about Conor. Malignaggi was brought in to help McGregor prepare for Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, their association ended rather abruptly, with Conor’s team spreading videos and images of the Irishman overwhelming Paulie during their sparring sessions.
After the fight, Paulie Malignaggi told the reporters that he got robbed, accusing the judges of not being competent.
