Brock Lesnar Says He’s ‘Done’

It looks like the UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, is going to have to go with his plan B, after Brock Lesnar has said that he’s now retired.

Moments ago, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto tweeted the news that Brock Lesnar has told the UFC President Dana White, that he is ‘done’.

Although this won’t be the news Cormier was hoping to hear, one man will be happy to see this tweet, is the former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic.

Ever since beating Miocic at UFC 226, Cormier has stated that if he can’t get the fight he wants with Lesnar, he will give Miocic a rematch.

Despite the fact that Cormier has consistently stated that he wanted the Lesnar fight next, Miocic has campaigned for a rematch with the new champion. Leading Cormier to tweet that the former champion was acting ‘entitled’. You can see Cormier’s tweet to Miocic here.

Since defeating Miocic, Cormier has defended his title against Derrick Lewis at UFC 230. Miocic hasn’t fought since.

Now that Lesnar has retired, do you think Cormier should defend his belt against Miocic next?
