Conor McGregor Arrested (Updated)
Conor McGregor has been arrested in Miami for allegedly taking someone’s phone and smashing it. The alleged incident took place outside the Fontainebleau hotel at around 5am Monday morning, (local time). The man was trying to take photos of the UFC fighter.
According to Miami-Dade County Jail’s website, McGregor’s charges of strong arm robbery and criminal mischief of $1,000 or more, came with bonds of $7,500 and $5,000.
Strong arm robbery is an American term, meaning that the alleged theft was done with violence, threats or force but without the use of a deadly weapon.
McGregor’s lawyer has just this moment given this statement:
