Conor McGregor Comments On UFC 236, Hints At Dustin vs Nate Next

Conor McGregor has taken to Twitter to give his thoughts on the main and co-main events at UFC 236, praising all those concerned. In particularly Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier.

The Irish man couldn’t help himself though and hinted that Poirier should fight Nate Diaz next. Obviously insinuating that he should get an immediate rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

This, despite the fact that UFC President Dana White, is insisting that Khabib will meet the new UFC lightweight interim champion. Who we now know is Poirier.

Although McGregor had stated after the loss at UFC 229, that he is prepared to fight whoever it takes to get the rematch with Khabib, it now looks like he’s all out set for an immediate rematch.

Just hours before UFC 236, McGregor took aim for Khabib again on Twitter. A tweet that saw Khabib and Tony Ferguson respond. You can see all those tweets here.

Khabib also tweeted after the fight, saying he thought the contest was a draw and sent a message to Poirier.

With negotiations expected to begin again between McGregor and Dana later this month, it’ll be interesting to see who McGregor will end up fighting. It’s difficult to argue that the former UFC two division champion needs to win at least one or two big fights, before earning another shot at Khabib and the UFC lightweight title.

Who do you think McGregor should fight next?
