Conor McGregor Victim Speaks Out About Incident

Conor McGregor made all the headlines for all the wrong reasons yesterday, again. After he grabbed someone’s phone and smashed it up, outside a hotel night club at 5am. You can read more about that here.

The man whose phone it was, Ahmed Abdirzak, has now spoken out about the incident. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Abdirzak said that McGregor put the phone in his pocket after smashing it, before leaving the scene.

“He came to shake my hand and as soon as he came to shake my hand, he pulled me in and grabbed my phone and started smashing it. And all these security guards literally surrounded me and pushed me out of the way. And he’s stomping upon on it.

“He was a lot rude. He was like, ‘Get the f*** out of my face. Move.’ And I was like, ‘Yo, sir can I have my phone back?’ And then there was security and his entourage surrounding him and I asked them if I could have my phone back and they were like, ‘Move, man. You better listen to what Conor said.’”

The former UFC double champion paid $12,500 bond to be released from jail on Monday and is due back in court on April 10th for an arraignment on the charges.

McGregor is currently suspended until next month from NSAC for his part in the UFC 229 brawl. It is not known yet if the UFC plan on punishing the lightweight fighter.
