Dana White Denies McGregor vs ‘Cowboy’ Is Done Deal

Since the first UFC card of 2019, where following his win over Alexander Hernandez at UFC Brooklyn, ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone called out Conor McGregor, speculation has grown that the two will face each other next inside the UFC Octagon.

McGregor himself as welcomed the fight. Although he has also hinted at fighting Nate Diaz for a third time and Anderson Silva. And MMA fans were led to believe that the fight was a done deal, when Joe Rogan said he believed the fight was a done deal on his podcast.

However, UFC President Dana White, has denied this, telling TMZ Sports that it was, “Not true. Not even close.”

McGregor’s manager Audie Attar, also stated to Ariel Helwani that his man’s next fight has already been confirmed.

Attar went on to say that McGregor is still very much in love with MMA.
