Dana White Shuts Down Talk of Cyborg-Nunes Rematch

Cris Cyborg lost her UFC Featherweight Championship to Amanda Nunes at UFC 232 last month. Since then, the talk has been rife about the two meeting again in the near future.

For her part, Amanda Nunes has said she is done with moving up to 145-pound division. In a similar vein, Cris Cyborg tweeted about not being sure what the future has in store for her. Cyborg’s deal with the UFC is nearing its end, and there won’t be any shortage of suitors for the former champion.

With Nunes throwing cold water over the anticipated rematch, UFC President Dana White has joined in the discussion, and during the UFC Brooklyn pre-fight press conference, spoke about the possibility of a rematch.
