Colby Covington isn’t the most popular guy in the welterweight division. The former interim champion will be facing Robbie Lawler in a few hours, in the main event of UFC Newark. If Colby manages to defeat the former champion, he will find himself in line for a shot at the welterweight title next.

Covington isn’t too concerned about the fact that he rubs people the wrong way. And of those is apparently welterweight contender Darren Till. The former number one contender for the welterweight title hasn’t had the best of fortunes lately. Till was originally expected to face Colby at UFC London, but fought Masivdal instead. After suffering a loss at the hands of Jorge Masvidal in the United Kingdom, Darren Till is currently taking some time off.

However, Till isn’t too happy with Colby. “Gorilla” took to social media to react to Colby recently, and went off on him.

Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler will face other tonight in the main event of UFC Newark. Lawler is coming off a controversial loss to Ben Askren, while Colby has been on a hot streak, defeating the likes of Demian Maia and Rafael dos Anjos, and could be just one win away from fighting Usman for the title. Darren Till on the other hand has said he is taking time off to regain his focus.
