Dillon Danis Suspended And Fined By NSAC

Dillon Danis might not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, yesterday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission revealed the extent of his suspension for his role in the UFC 229 melee.

For those that don’t remember, Khabib Nurmagomedov attacked Dillon Danis after submitting Conor McGregor. While Danis did not instigate the fight, he did fight back in what many consider to be acting in self defense. Khabib was suspended for nine months and was fined $500,000 by NSAC last month. However, Nurmagomedov can see his suspension be brought down to six months, provided he does an anti-bullying PSA, according to the commission.

Considering the duration of suspension given to Khabib, many believe that Dillon Danis might have gotten the short-end of the stick. The NSAC announced that Danis would be suspended for seven months, and would be fined $7,500 for his involvement in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

As expected, Danis did not hold back, and took to social media to express his displeasure.

Do you think that was harsh on NSAC’s part? Let us know!
