Dustin Poirier is not a happy camper.

Things could have been very different for ‘Diamond’, who was supposed to fight Nate Diaz inside the Madison Square Garden late last year. However, Dustin got injured, and the fight was nixed. Dustin Poirier is riding high on a four-fight win streak (with one no contest), beating top contenders and former champions, including Justin Gaethje, Anthony Pettis, and in his last fight, Eddie Alvarez.

However, the major talking point over the past 12 hours has been regarding GSP’s retirement rumours. Khabib Nurmagomedov has also offered to fight GSP later this year, hoping that the former middleweight champion postpones his plans of retiring from the sport.

And that has seemingly put off a couple of fighters, most notably Dustin Poirier.

Dustin took to Twitter, and remarked that UFC should just cut him from the roster.

“These guys (UFC) should just release me”, Dustin wrote on social media.

Even Al Iaquinta, who fought Khabib last year for the light heavyweight title chimed in.
