It wasn’t Al Iaquinta or Elias Theodorou’s night at UFC Ottawa, with both coming up short in the main and co-main event. Following their losses, both via unanimous decision, Iaquinta and Theodorou have taken to social media to post a statement on their losses. And despite not getting the wins, both remain positive.

Iaquinta, who lost to ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in the main event, posted a photo of his team and friends, and congratulated his teammate Merab Dvalishvili, who defeated Brad Katona.

Canada’s Theodorou also posted a photo of himself with his team and congratulated his opponent, Derek Brunson.

Following UFC Ottawa, UFC President Dana White also took to Instagram to congratulate ‘Cowboy’ and show respect for Iaquinta for ‘an amazing fight!!!!’
