Jon Jones And Corey Anderson Trade Blows After Their Confrontation

Ahead of UFC 240, Jon Jones was taking part in an autograph signing session for fans. Until Corey Anderson turned up. As you can see in ESPN’s Ariel Helwani’s video below.

Jones didn’t take kindly to Anderson interrupting his ‘meet and greet’ and words were exchanged, before security removed Anderson and his friends.

Shortly after the incident, Anderson took to Twitter to say that he only came to say ‘hi’ to the UFC light heavyweight champion.

A few hours late, Jones took to Twitter himself to hit back at Anderson and respond to some of his fans’ comments on the earlier incident. Which led to some back and forth between the two 205 pounders.

Jones, who is regarded as many as the greatest ever mixed martial artist, is coming off a successful title defence earlier this month at UFC 239, against Thaigo Santos. Anderson is on a three fight win streak in the UFC light heavyweight division. Most recently beating Ilir Latifi last December at UFC 232.

Jones has stated that he wants to fight in December. Although he recently tweeted about fighting on the UFC Madison Square Garden card in November.

Do you think Corey Anderson should be next in line to face Jon Jones?
