Jon Jones’ Fight Night Drug Test Results Revealed

Jon “Bones” Jones is never far away from controversy. In fact, leading up to UFC 232, the redemption story was overshadowed by Jones testing positive for turinabol metabolite. UFC then decided to shift the entire event from Las Vegas to Inglewood, California. While the news of the pay-per-view literally being shifted to another location irked a lot of fighters, Jon Jones knew what he had to do.

Jones defeated Gustafsson in the main event to reclaim his light heavyweight crown. However, the talk once again quickly shifted from Jon’s unmistakable, god-given natural abilities to him getting popped before the event. The focus since has been on Jones’ fight night drug test results. And finally, we have our answers.

Jon Jones’ tests come back clean

ESPN‘s Brett Okamoto revealed that Jon Jones’ fight night test results have come back clean. The controversy surrounding Jon will not die down anytime soon, but this might give the maligned star some respite. Dana White and the UFC were accused of giving “Bones” preferential treatment, all the while Dana claimed that Jon was innocent.

Jones is expected to face Anthony Smith at UFC 235, pending NSAC’s approval to give Jon his license. While the light heavyweight kingpin recently called out Daniel Cormier, he has since stated that he wants to clean out the 205-pound division first.
