Jon Jones Has Some Advice For Young Fighters

There’s no question that Jon Jones is one of the greatest mixed martial artists that we’ve ever seen. But as we all know, some of his actions outside of the Octagon have been as memorable as some of his performances inside the Octagon, but for all the wrong reasons.

But the UFC light heavyweight champion appears to be trying to make amends. Just staying out of trouble for the remainder of his career would go someway to ensuring he leaves the sport with a better reputation, than he would have done if he hung up his gloves when he was suspended for a second time by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Instead though, Jones is looking to do more than just stay out of trouble. In his most recent Instagram post, ‘Bones’ offered some advice to any aspiring, up and coming fighters. Drawing on his own experiences, to give advice to any young fighters’ relationships with their managers.

Jones has been managed by Abraham Kawa at First Round Management, for most of his career.

The 31 year old returns to the Octagon next month in Las Vegas at UFC 239, where he will defend his 205lbs title against Brazil’s Thiago Santos in the main event.
