Jon Jones To Israel Adesanya: F*** With A Beast Like Me & I’ll Expose You
A year ago, if you were to hear Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya in the same sentence, it was probably comparing the two. The chances are now, if you hear both their names in the same sentence, they’ve probably been trading blows again.
And that’s exactly what’s happened in the last few hours. After hearing Adesanya mention his name in an interview with The Mac Life, ‘Bones’ was quick to take to social media, to hit out at ‘The Last Stylebender’.
In a series of tweets, Jones stated that when the day comes and they fight, he will make the Nigerian Kiwi his ‘absolute bitch’ and if he ‘f*** with a beast like me and I will expose you.’
When one fan asked the UFC light heavyweight champion to call out some heavyweights, instead of a middleweight, Jones replied, ‘Oh you just wait’.
Jones and Adesanya have been regularly going back and forth since earlier this year, when the middleweight interim champion said that he had killed off one GOAT, in Anderson Silva, and would happily kill off another one, in Jones.
Adesanya is never shy in engaging with his rivals. Although this week, he may want to concentrate on matters in hand. Namely, facing Robert Whittaker this weekend in the main event at UFC 244, where the undisputed UFC middleweight championship will be on the line.
Jones last fought at UFC 239 in July, where he defended his 205lbs title against Thiago Santos, winning via split decision. He was expected to defend his title again before the end of the year but it is looking more likely that his next title fight will come in early 2020 now.
