Jorge Masvidal has revealed his picks for the three highly-anticipated matchups at UFC 263, Israel Adesanya vs Marvin Vettori 2, Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno 2, and Leon Edwards vs Nate Diaz.

UFC 263 takes place at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday night. In the main event, middleweight champion Adesanya is set to defend his title against Vettori. In their first fight in 2018, ‘The Last Stylebender’ edged out a closely-contested split-decision victory.

In the co-main event, Figueiredo defends his title, also in a rematch, against Moreno. Their first title fight at UFC 256 ended in a majority draw, with one judge siding with the reigning champion. ‘Daico’ would have won if it wasn’t for a point deduction as a result of a shot to the groin.

Elsewhere on the main card, Edwards welcomes Diaz back into the Octagon in the first-ever non-title, non-main event, five-round fight in UFC history. The Stockton native hasn’t fought since his TKO loss to Masvidal at UFC 244, while ‘Rocky’ saw his most recent fight with Belal Muhammad at UFC Vegas 21 end in a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke.

In his latest Instagram post, Masvidal revealed that he’s backing Adesanya, Moreno, and Diaz to get the job done at UFC 263.

“Israel Adesanya, Brandon Moreno and Nate Diaz, my picks,” Masvidal said.

Masvidal last fought at UFC 261, where he challenged UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for a second time, but was brutally knocked out in the second round.

Taking a break from fighting, Masvidal is currently scouting for talent for his bare-knuckle fighting promotion, Gamebred Fighting Championship, which is set to host its first-ever event on June 18th.
