Kevin Lee: I Will Be World Champion

After being submitted by Rafael dos Anjos in the fourth round at UFC Rochester this past weekend, a clearly upset Kevin Lee posted a video immediately afterwards, where he said the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows will make you question what you believe in. You can see the full video here.

Fast forward a few days and ‘The Motown Phenom’ is feeling more positive again. In a recent post on Instagram, Lee stated that after a thirty minute conversation with his mental coach Vinny Shoreman, he’s in a good place again. Adding ‘There’s no doubt. I will be World Champion’.

The loss to RDA was in his welterweight debut and was his second straight loss, having lost to Al Iaquinta in his last fight at lightweight. It’s the first time the 26 year old has lost fights back to back.

From his instagram message though, Lee appears to be in good spirits again and feeling confident that he will be getting back to winning ways in his next fight.

Who would you like to see Kevin Lee fight next?
