Kevin Lee Moving Up To Welterweight For UFC Rochester Main Event

Having teased the idea for a while, Kevin Lee is finally making the move up to welterweight.

Sources confirmed to ESPN that Lee would fight the former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, in the main event at UFC Rochester.

Lee is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Al Iaquinta in December. In his previous fight, Lee beat Edson Barboza Jr. after missing weight. The 26 year old also fought for the UFC interim lightweight title in October of 2017 but lost to Tony Ferguson, via a third round triangle choke.

Dos Anjos will also be looking to bounce back from a loss, the Brazilian has lost his last two outings, to Colby Covington and the new UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. Before that, dos Anjos had won all three of fights after moving up to 170lbs.

UFC Rochester goes down on May 18th.

Who do you think will walk away with the ‘W’?
