Where as there is severe bad blood between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, the same can’t be said for Khabib and Tony Ferguson. At least not on Khabib’s side.

Following reports that Ferguson’s wife filed a restraining order against her husband last month, many of Tony’s fellow fighters came out in support for the former UFC interim lightweight champion.

Khabib has now came out in support of Ferguson. Telling RT Sport that he hopes Tony returns to the UFC Octagon and they can finally fight. They have been scheduled to fight four times in the past but due to issues each time, the fight has never happened.

While Khabib may be showing support for his rival, Ferguson continues to call out the current UFC lightweight champion. Just in the last hour, ‘El Cucuy’ replied to a comment on the tweet above.
