Khabib Responds To ‘Lowlife’ Conor McGregor’s Recent Insults (Video)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past week, you would know all about Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s Twitter feud.
McGregor started the war of words by posting a series of tweets, attacking Paulie Malignaggi. Adding a couple of tweets to Khabib, immediately afterwards. In one particular tweet, McGregor called Khabib’s wife as a towel. Although he quickly deleted the tweets, we were able to take screenshots before he did so.
Khabib fired back, calling McGregor a ‘rapist’. Just in case you have been under a rock, you can see all the tweets that went back and forth, as well as Dana White’s statement on the situation, here, here and here.
Speaking to RT Sport, Khabib has said that he doesn’t worry about what McGregor says from the safety of being 1,000 kilometres away from him but it “shows what kind of lowlife he really is”.
With all of his troubles outside of the Octagon, McGregor is certainly doing his best to get the conversation away from the claims of sexual assault and smashing up a fan’s phone, and instead on him as a fighter. Even stating in his last tweet to Khabib, “see you in the Octagon”.
Although he had previously sent out a retirement tweet, it is looking more likely that the former UFC two division champion will return to the cage. Dana himself said this week that he will sit down with McGregor in the coming weeks, to get things sorted out. You can read about that here.
