Mackenzie Dern Announces She’s Going To Be A Mum

Mckenzie Dern has just surprised the MMA world by announcing that she’s going to be a mum. Dern posted the announcement on her Instagram page.

God makes everything so perfect! I am so happy to be able to share this news! I’m going to be a Mom! Dern, who comes from a BJJ background, is 7-0 in her professional MMA career. Although she has missed weight in three of those fights. Including her last outing, when she weighed in 7lbs over the strawweight limit against Amanda Cooper, at UFC 224 last May.

Despite coming in so heavy for that contest, Dern had decided to stay at strawweight. The Brazilian vowed to come back to the ring, in her Instagram message. So it will be interesting to see which weight class that will be in.
