Mickey Gall Responds To Mike Perry Call Out

Mickey Gall got back to winning ways this past weekend at UFC Newark, defeating Salim Touahri, via unanimous decision. In his Octagon interview, Gall called out Diego Sanchez, who beat him via a second round TKO six months ago at UFC 235.

Gall called for the rematch, stating that he only lost their first encounter because he was sick. This comment didn’t sit well with Mike Perry, who has previously trained with Sanchez at Jackson-Wink Academy, in Albuquerque. Immediately after Gall’s comments, Perry took to social media to call out the 27 year old.

In his post fight media scrum, Gall was told about Perry’s tweet, to which he responded:

“Green? Green meaning like you’re a beginner? F*** Mike Perry!”

And when asked if he would be interested in that fight, he replied ‘absolutely’.

“Yeah, f*** yeah. Hell yeah. If he gets through my boy Vicente, he’s fighting Vicente Luque, me and Perry could absolutely do it,”

This isn’t the first time the two men have traded blows. They went back and forth last November, after Perry called out Gall whilst on The Ariel Helwani Show.

Perry is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Alex Oliveira at UFC Fort Lauderdale. Perry, also 27 years old, faces Luque this weekend at UFC Uruguay.
