Nate Diaz will be back inside the Octagon this weekend, at UFC Phoenix. But sadly it won’t be fighting. Long term friend and training partner of the Diaz brothers, Gilbert Melendez, has said that Nate will be cornering Kron Gracie, this weekend.

Unless there are any changes to the card, Kron Gracie vs Alex Caceres will the the 5000th UFC fight.

Nate hasn’t fought since his Conor McGregor rematch at UFC 202, where he lost via unanimous decision. Diaz won their first encounter via a second round rear naked choke at UFC 196.
