ONE Championship Set To Launch New Video Podcast ‘Franklin Speaking’

ONE Championship has announced the launch of its newest Content Stack, ‘Franklin Speaking’. A video podcast hosted by former UFC middleweight champion and current ONE VP, Rich Franklin. The first episode of ‘Franklin Speaking’ will launch tonight April 6th, at 7pm Singaporean time on ONE Championship’s official YouTube channel.

‘Franklin Speaking’ will see Rich Franklin joined by his ONE Warrior Series co-host Jonathan Fong. The two will interview guests and discuss an array of relevant topics.

Ahead of the premier show tonight, Franklin gave an idea of what fans can expect when they tune in.

“This new show gives us the ability to connect with our audience through expert guests on many relevant issues, reaching far beyond martial arts,” says Rich Franklin, host and creator. “Audiences can expect deep dive discussions on a variety of topics and ideas, featuring content that aims to entertain, educate, and inspire.”

The episode will feature, Brian Cain, Franklin’s former mental performance coach. Cain is a number one international best-selling author, speaker, coach and consultant who has worked with some of the best athletes in the world, across a variety of major sporting organisations. He is possibly best known as the foremost authority on Mental Performance Mastery (MPM).

With the world on lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Fong says that this is the perfect time to launch the new podcast.

“We are excited to launch ‘Franklin Speaking’. We have been working on this for some time. With the recent travel restrictions all over the world, now is the time to bring this show to our fanbase. At ONE Warrior Series and ONE Championship, we look at challenges as opportunities to innovate – and continue driving our mission of inspiring hopes and dreams, particularly during these difficult times.”

Further expanding ONE Championship’s Content Stacks beyond martial arts, the company also recently announced a unique format of the critically acclaimed reality television show The Apprentice. ‘The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition’ will bring together sixteen contestants handpicked from around the world, to participate in a high-stakes game of business competitions and physical challenges.

Speaking recently on Facebook Live, ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong sent a message to the show’s previous host Donald Trump, now the president of the United States.

“Sorry Donald Trump but we’re going to beat your numbers.”
