It has been confirmed that ONE Championship will introduce World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) standard drug testing in 2019.

In my opinion, ONE is leading the way in the world of mixed martial arts, when it comes to cutting weight. By introducing more stringent drug testing as well, the promotion is really showing the MMA world that it means business.

When it comes to the weigh-ins, athletes are tested for hydration throughout the fight week. Any athlete who doesn’t pass the hydration test, doesn’t fight. This means that every ONE athlete fights close to their walk around weight.
