ONE: Inside The Matrix Post Fight Videos
ONE: Inside The Matrix is in the books. Lauded as the promotion’s biggest event of the year, Friday’s event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium did not disappoint, with four of the six fights on the card ending inside the distance.
In the main event, a new ONE middleweight champion was crowned with Reinier de Ridder making short work of two-division champion Aung La Nsang. The Dutchman wasted no time in taking ‘The Burmese Python’ to the mat and sinking in a rear naked choke at 3:26 of round one.
The co-main event was another brief affair, with reigning lightweight champion Christian Lee retaining his title against Iuri Lapicus. After a back-and-forth scramble on the ground, ‘The Warrior’ knocked the Moldovan out with ground and pound as he rolled for a kneebar inside the opening two minutes.
There was another new champion crowned in the featherweight division, as the American-Vietnamese Thanh Le stopped champion Martin Nguyen in round three, after being rocked himself. Women’s strawweight champion Xiong Jingnan defended her title once again with a decision win over a dogged Tiffany Teo, her second win in as many encounters with the Singapore native.
In other action, Australia’s Antonio Caruso upset former ONE lightweight champion Eduard Folayang, winning by unanimous decision, and India’s Ritu Phogat took out Cambodia’s Nou Srey Pov with ground and pound in the second round of their atomweight clash

ONE Championship returns to Singapore next Friday with ONE: Inside The Matrix 2, which will see Kiamrian Abbasov defend his welterweight title against James Nakashima in the main event.
