Last week, Paige VanZant shared the unfortunate news that she had fractured her arm again. You can read more about that and see the picture, here.

PVZ has recently taken to Instagram Stories to give an update on the re-fractured arm, as transcribed by MMA Junkie.

“So, it’s just a fracture right at the site of my screw. My arm is crazy swollen still, so we’re just waiting for the swelling to go down.

“We’re going to x-ray it in a month, and I think I will be good to go. What that means is I have to take a month off from contact. After that month is over I can sign a fight contract and get right into a fight camp.”

PVZ suffered the first fracture in January of last year, when she fought Jessica Rose-Clark. One year later, she made a successful return to the UFC Octagon, with a win at UFC Brooklyn over Rachael Ostovich.

If all goes to plan, according to PVZ’s Instagram story, we won’t have to wait too long to see the 24 year old back inside the Octagon.
