PFL 5 Results And Playoff Brackets

PFL 5 went down on Thursday night, at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersea. This week’s card featured the lightweight and featherweight division and saw Chris Wade vs Akhmed Aliev in the main event.

Main Card:

Lightweight: Chris Wade def. Akhmed Aliev via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Wade earns 3 points and he moves into the lightweight playoffs. 

Featherweight: Lance Palmer def. Luis Rafael Laurentino via third round TKO (2:45)

Palmer earns 4 points for the second round finish and moves into the featherweight playoffs.

Lightweight: Nate Andrews def. Rashid Magomedov via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Andrews earns 3 points and moves into the lightweight playoffs. 

Featherweight: Alex Gilpin def. Freddy Assuncao via guillotine submission (2:08)

Gilpin earns 6 points and he moves into the featherweight playoffs. 

Featherweight: Jeremy Kennedy def. Steven Siler via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Kennedy earns 3 points and moves into the featherweight playoffs.

Schulte earns 3 points and moves into the lightweight playoffs. 

Featherweight: Andre Harrison vs. Movlid Khaybulaev ends in majority draw (29-28, 28-28, 28-28)

Both fighters earn one point and move into the featherweight playoffs. 

Lightweight: Islam Mamedov def. Bao Yincang via first round TKO (3:32)

Mamedov earns 6 points and moves into the lightweight playoffs.

Featherweight: Alexandre Almeida def. Peter Petties via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Almeida earns 3 points.

Lightweight: Loik Radzhabov def. Ylies Djiroun via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27)

Radzhabov earns 3 points.


Fighters earn three points for a win. With three additional points for a first round finish, two additional points for a second round finish and one additional point for a third round finish.
