The PFL Announces First Three Events Of 2019

The new Professional Fighters League (PFL) season is set to get underway this Thursday. And ahead of the start of their second season, the PFL has announced the revised full line up for the first three events.
PFL 1 – May 9

* Since this article was written, Svetlana Khautova has withdrawn from her main event with Kayla Harrison. As a result, Larissa Pacheco has replaced Khautova. And Moriel Charneski has replaced Pacheco against Roberta Samad.

All three events will take place at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, New York.
The PFL has a completely unique format. Competitors gain points for wins and can earn bonus points for early finishes. The fighters with the most points at the end of the season move on to the playoffs.
The playoffs will begin on October 11th and the PFL Championship finals will go down on New Year’s Eve. The winner of each tournament will win $1 million.
