This Is How The MMA World Reacted To UFC Vegas 15

UFC Vegas 15 went down on Saturday night at the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, Anthony Smith needed less than a round to get back to winning ways, submitting Devin Clark half way through the first round.

The co-main event saw Miguel Baeza follow up his win over Matt Brown earlier this year by submitting Takashi Sato in the second round, to extend his perfect MMA record to 10-0.

The UFC Vegas 15 main event was originally going to be a top five heavyweight clash between Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis. However, ‘Razor’ tested positive for the coronavirus just hours before the weigh-ins on Friday. The promotion plans to rebook the fight for early 2021.

The UFC returns next weekend with UFC Vegas 16. This will now feature the top 15 middleweight clash between Jack Hermansson and Marvin Vettori in the main event, after Kevin Holland announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus earlier today.

As a result, Holland will fight ‘Jacare’ Souza one week later at UFC 256. The Brazilian was scheduled to fight Vettori on the card.
