This Is How The MMA World Reacted To UFC Vegas 30

UFC Vegas 30 went down on Saturday at the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, Ciryl Gane extended his undefeated record to 9-0 by dominating Alexander Volkov for five rounds of their top five heavyweight contest.

In the evening’s co-main event, Tanner Boser bounced back from his controversial split decision loss to Ilir Latifi three weeks ago by knocking out Ovince Saint Preux in the second round.

Elsewhere on the UFC Vegas 30 main card, Raoni Barcelos earned a hard fought majority decision against Timur Valiev, Tim Means made it three wins in a row against Nicolas Dalby, and Renato Moicano finished Jai Herbert at the end of the second round. The featherweight bout between Andre Fili and Daniel Pineda ended in a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke at the start of the second round by the Team Alpha Male representative after he had dominated the first round.

Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov:

“Not all battles are equally victorious. The fight was tough. It doesn’t matter if I lost or not, the main thing is that you did not win!! I have a lot to grow and work on, but this is the path, and everyone has his own. Thanks to my team! I’ll be back as soon as possible!”

Tanner Boser vs Ovince Saint Preux:

We will continue to update this post in the upcoming hours and days, as the fighters on the card take to social media to post their post fight statements.

The UFC returns in two weeks on July 10th with UFC 264, which features the trilogy between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor in the main event, and a top five welterweight matchup between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson in the co-main event.
