This Is How The MMA World Reacted To Whittaker vs Adesanya
In the main event of UFC 243, Israel Adesanya reached the pinnacle of the sport by defeating Robert Whittaker for the middleweight title. “Izzy” rocked the former champion towards the end of first round, dropping him to the mat just as the buzzer sounded. However, he finished the job in the very next round, connecting with an excellent combination which rocked “The Reaper”.
Whittaker then hit the mat, and the referee immediately stepped in to bring the contest to a close. Israel (18-0 MMA) made his UFC debut in February 2018, and became the new UFC Middleweight Champion at UFC 243. He defeated Kelvin Gastelum in his last fight to become the interim middleweight champion.
