Three Big Fights Added To UFC San Antonio, Including Hooker vs Vick

Three exciting fights have been added to UFC San Antonio. Including a fun lightweight matchup be Dan Hooker and James Vick.

After winning nine of his first ten fights inside the UFC Octagon, Vick has lost his last two. Losing to Justin Gaethje and Paul Felder. Hooker will also be looking to get back to winning ways. After winning four in a row, all by stoppage, the Kiwi fighter lost his last fight, an absolute war, against Edson Barboza Jr..

A fight we reported a couple of weeks ago, has now been officially confirmed, as Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell will rematch, eleven years after Arlovski won their first encounter, via a third round knockout.

More recently, Arlovski has fought four times in the last year, losing three, with the other being a no contest. Rothwell returned earlier this year after a three year absence from the Octagon, after a two year suspension from USADA, losing a unanimous decision to Blagoy Ivanov at UFC Wichita.

And lastly, Ray Borg vs Gabriel Silva has also been officially added to the card. After winning five of six fights inside the Octagon, Borg will be looking to overturn a two fight losing streak, having lost to Demetrious Johnson and more recently, Casey Kenney via unanimous decision at UFC Philadelphia in March. Silva has a record of 7-0 and will be making his UFC debut.

Some of the other fights already confirmed for UFC San Antonio include Greg Hardy vs Juan Adams, Aleksei Oleinik vs Walt Harris, Raquel Pennington vs Irene Aldana, Liz Carmouche vs Roxanne Modafferi and Alex Caceres vs Steven Peterson.

UFC San Antontio goes down on July 20th at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
