UFC 246 Post Fight Videos And Medical Suspensions

The UFC’s first event of the new decade went down on Saturday night, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC 246 saw Conor McGregor return after a fifteen month layoff, stopping ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone after only 40 seconds of the first round in the main event.

In the co-main event, Holly Holm beat Raquel Pennington in their rematch. The former UFC bantamweight champion won their first encounter at UFC 184 via split decision and got it done this time by unanimous decision.

Elsewhere on the UFC 246 card, Aleksei Oleinik scored yet another submission win in his 72nd professional MMA bout. ‘The Boa Restrictor’ became the first fighter in the UFC to earn victories over four decades, by submitting Maurice Greene via an armbar in the second round.

Diego Ferreira also notched up a second round submission win, by way of a rear naked choke over the former UFC lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis. While Roxanne Modafferi produced the upset of the night, after handing Maycee Barber the first loss of her professional career.
