UFC Fight News: Including Amanda Nunes And Darren Till

Amanda Nunes vs Megan Anderson

Following her last fight, Amanda Nunes hinted towards retirement, stating that she has achieved everything she could have ever wished for in her career. It would appear however that the two division UFC champion still has more to achieve in the sport. ‘The Lioness’ looks set to defend her featherweight title against Megan Anderson at the end of the year.

ESPN‘s Brett Okamoto has reported that Nunes will defend her 145lbs belt at UFC 256 in December. The Brazilian and her partner, the top five strawweight Nina Ansaroff, are expecting their first child next month.

Nunes successfully defended her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 in June. The win took the 30 year old’s winning streak to eleven fights inside the Octagon. Anderson is on a two fight winning streak, having finished Zarah Fairn Dos Santos and Norma Dumont Viana.

Darren Till vs Jack Hermansson

In the last hour, Okamoto has also reported that Darren Till vs Jack Hermansson is set to headline the promotion’s December 5th card. Pending the Brit being medically cleared for the injury sustained to his left knee in his loss to Robert Whittaker recently at UFC Fight Island 3. Which is likely he will.

Hermansson is currently sat two spots higher than Till in the UFC middleweight rankings, at number four, and is coming off a quick submission win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Island 2.
