Hot of the heels of Tony Ferguson vs ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone fight being confirmed for UFC 238, is set to officially confirm Nate Diaz vs Anthony Pettis.

UFC President Dana White, has taken to Twitter, stating that Diaz vs Pettis will go down in a welterweight clash at UFC 241 in Anaheim, on August 17th. The fight will serve as the co-main event.

Diaz hasn’t fought since he lost to Conor McGregor at UFC 202, in August of 2016. He was due to fight Dustin Poirier last November but Poirier was forced to pull out injured.

Pettis is coming off of a spectacular KO win over Stephen Thompson at UFC Nashville, in his UFC welterweight debut.
