UFC Vegas 3: Blaydes vs Volkov Results
UFC Vegas 3 goes down on Saturday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event will see a top ten heavyweight clash between Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov. ‘Razor’ has won seven of his last eight fights, with his only loss coming against Francis Ngannou. In his last outing to the Octagon, the 29 year old scored a second round TKO win at the start of the year over the former champion, Junior dos Santos.
While ‘Drago’ has also won seven of his last eight fights, with his only loss coming to Derrick Lewis, when he was knocked out with only 11 seconds left having dominated the fight. The 31 year old Russian is coming off a unanimous decision win over Greg Hardy at UFC Moscow last November.
In the UFC Vegas 3 co-main event, Josh Emmett takes on Shane Burgos in an exciting featherweight clash. The Team Alpha Male man is on a two fight winning streak. While ‘Hurricane’ will be looking to make it four wins on the trot.
Elsewhere on the UFC Vegas 3 card, Raquel Pennington faces Marion Reneau in a bantamweight clash, there’s a fun matchup between welterweights Belal Muhammad and Lyman Good, and Jim Miller makes his 35th walk to the Octagon, when he goes up against Roosevelt Roberts.
Ahead of the night, all 24 fighters on the card made weight. With the exception of Frank Camacho, who missed the lightweight limit by 2lbs.
