Yoel Romero Sends Message To Israel Adesanya
It’s been one and a half years since Khabib Nurmagomedov told Conor McGregor to ‘Send me location’. Now Yoel Romero has coined his own version, telling Israel Adesanya to ‘Give me the f***ing date’.
“Hey Israel, why you say I see you boy, why you say I see you soon boy? No, no, no, you don’t need to say something like this. Give me the f***ing date. Give me the f***ing date. Tell Dana White the f***ing date. Alright, that’s it.”
Yesterday it was reported that Paulo Costa would be out of action for eight months, due to having surgery on his bicep. As a result, UFC president Dana White confirmed that Adesanya will now defend his UFC middleweight title against another contender.
It is believed that Romero is being lined up to challenge the new 185lbs champion. Following Dana’s announcement, the ‘Soldier Of God’ tweeted Adesanya is trademark saying ‘#iseeyousoonboi’. To which ‘The Last Stylebender himself replied, ‘#iseeyousoonboi’.
From Romero’s Instagram post, it would certainly appear that these two will slug it out for the middleweight strap but both the UFC and Yoel are waiting for Adesanya, who defeated Robert Whittaker earlier this month at UFC 243 to win the belt, to give a timescale of when he’s ready to make his first title defence.
Who do you think will walk away with the ‘W’, Israel Adesanya or Yoel Romero?
