Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson hasn’t fought since he lost his title fight against the then UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, at UFC 210 in April of 2017. After the fight ‘Rumble’ announced his retirement.

Since then, Johnson has concentrated on his cannabis facility (for medical purposes), he opened after his retirement from the sport.

However, speaking on the most recent episode of Into The Weeds podcast, Johnson said he would be tempted back to MMA for one fight. A fight with the current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, at heavyweight.

“The only way I come out of retirement is if Jon Jones goes to heavyweight, and then that’s when I’ll come out of retirement and fight Jon. That’s the only guy I want to fight. Because then after him I can officially say I did my job. My mission is complete, although I didn’t win a title but I fought the best of the best. I can go to sleep [happy].”
