Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov And Jon Jones Set To Appear Before NSAC

Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones are arguably the three biggest names in the sport of mixed martial arts. All three enigmas, and all three controversial in their own right. While Conor McGregor has emerged as MMA’s shining star over the past few years, Khabib recently shattered Conor’s invincible aura, beating the Irishman comprehensively at UFC 229.

Jon Jones, however, has been maligned not because of someone else, but because of his own wrong doing. Every time the fans people the best pure athlete in MMA has turned a corner, Jones finds himself in a new controversy. Jones was suspended for 15 months, retroactive to July 2017, he reclaimed his throne at UFC 232. However, that fight once again highlighted the perils of putting your faith in Jon.

After the UFC 229 melee, where Khabib attacked Conor’s team, leading to a massive brawl inside and outside the cage, Khabib and Conor were suspended indefinitely by NSAC. Jon Jones, on the other hand, needs to get his license to fight again in the state of Nevada. With his UFC 235 fight with Anthony Smith getting close, the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion appears to be at the mercy of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

All the three fighters are currently scheduled to appear before the commission on the 29th of this month, with their cases on the agenda. Khabib and Conor are not expected to be present in person, but will have their legal representatives appear before the commission.

Stay tuned for the fall out, as we will keep you up-to-date with what’s next for the three stars.
