Dana White Reacts To Dillashaw Wanting To Challenge Holloway

This weekend, TJ Dillashaw will move down to 125lbs, to challenge Henry Cejudo for the UFC flyweight title. If he wins the UFC Brooklyn main event, he will achieve what only Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier and Amanda Nunes have accomplished. And that is to hold two UFC belts simultaneously.

However, Dillashaw isn’t content on being a double champion, he wants to be regarded as the best pound for pound fighter on the planet. And to achieve that status, the UFC bantamweight champion, wants to move up to featherweight and challenge the champion in that division, Max Holloway.

Speaking to Get Up! on ESPN, UFC President Dana White, has given his reaction to Dillashaw’s plan.

“He’s talking about moving up to 145 pounds to fight Max Holloway. Max Holloway is so much bigger than him… It’s pretty crazy, but impressive. I like his style. I like what he’s thinking. He’d be the first three-belt champion if he could pull that off.”

White knows though before any such fight can happen, Dillashaw must first get past Cejudo.

“[Cejudo] said it again yesterday, man. [Cejudo said] ‘stop looking through me, you’re looking through me, it’s a big mistake.’ I don’t think Dillashaw is looking through him. Dillashaw’s been around for a long time, he knows Cejudo is tough.”
