Jon Jones’ Most Recent VADA Test Results Revealed Ahead Of UFC 235

Jon Jones will once again be the center of attention (and there are no indications he is uncomfortable being so) in a week’s time. At UFC 235, Jon will defend his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against Anthony Smith in the main event of the pay-per-view.

Jon Jones hasn’t had much success in recent times whenever he was scheduled to headline a pay-per-view. From Nevada refusing to give him his license in December, thus forcing UFC to change venue locations at the last minute, to getting popped for banned substances after the event, Bones’ track-record has left a lot to be desired. One of the conditions the Nevada Athletic Commission put in front of Jon, before granting him a one-fight license back in January, was that Jones would submit himself to rigorous tests leading up to the pay-per-view.

And there was also the condition of Jon being a part of the VADA testing pool, along with USADA for the rest of the year.

Jon Jones admittedly wasn’t too worried about the process, telling MMA Junkie, “Every week, maybe twice a week someone is at my house taking blood and urine. I’m OK with it. I’ve got nothing to hide. I’m excited to learn about what’s in my body.”

“It’s not that easy to walk up to my house in the first place, so they do a good job of announcing themselves.”

And according to MMA Junkie’s Steven Marrocco, Jon Jones passed his most recent VADA test conducted on February 18th.

We are less than two weeks away from UFC 235. Nothing can possibly go wrong, right? Let’s hope things go smoothly ahead of the mega-event.
