Breaking: Conor McGregor Says He Has Retired From MMA
Conor McGregor is at it again!
The former UFC Lightweight Champion, who has been calling out fighters left and right, took to social media just few minutes ago, and said that he was retiring from mixed martial arts!
The Irishman was expected to face Cerrone until McGregor refused to fight in the co-main event. With Cerrone now facing a different opponent, McGregor has been left in a limbo once again. Conor recently called out the likes of Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson, but his recent announcement has come out of nowhere!
“Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today”, Conor McGregor wrote. “I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!”
This isn’t the first time McGregor has teased retirement. Couple of years ago, McGregor said he was done with the sport, but later admitted that it was just a prank.
We will have to wait and see how this will unfold!
