There’s been a lot of talk in the last year of a new 165lbs division in the UFC. Many of the fighters have called for it and I think it would be a step in the right direction. There is a huge amount of talent in the 155lbs and 170lbs divisions and it just makes sense to move 170lbs up to 175, so we can have 155, 165, 175 and 185 divisions.

Now Georges St-Pierre’s long term coach Firas Zahabi has added his voice to the argument. Speaking on MMABetz YouTube channel, Zahabi said a GSP vs Khabib Nurmagomedov fight at 165lbs makes sense.
