UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas has a huge fight this weekend, when she will step into enemy territory to defend her title against Jessica Andrade at UFC 237.

Usually if there’s a home advantage, it goes to the champion but ‘Thug Rose’ being ‘Thug Rose’, decided to go to Brazil to defend her title against the formidable Andrade.

Although all her focus is on her second title defence, Namajunas has one eye on future opponents. Speaking to TMZ Sports, the 115lbs champion was asked about fighting Valentina Shevchenko and Amanda Nunes. Although she laughed off fighting Nunes, saying “she’s amazing, she’s like an inspiration to me. I think she fights like a dude, man. She’s awesome.”

“I’ve trained a lot with Valentina, definitely the way she trains, she’s an animal. Of course I would love to test myself against her but she’s also my friend. So that would be strange. But you know, it’s whatever, I’ve fought friends before multiple times. So yeah of course, it would be awesome.”

Of course she has to get past a very tough Andrade this weekend but would you like to see Namajunas have a super fight down the road?
