ONE: Warrior’s Code Pre-Fight Interviews And Weigh-In Results

ONE: Warrior’s Code goes down tonight at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. The card will feature twelve bouts, nine mixed martial arts and three Muay Thai. The first bout gets underway at 5.30pm local time. In the main event, Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy will face Pongsiri PK SaenchaiGym for the inaugural ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.

Pongsiri is Petchmorakot’s third scheduled opponent for the Jakarta main event. Jamal Yusupov was originally booked to face the Thai superstar but after he failed a medical test, he was replaced by Detrit SathianMuayThai, who was pulled from the card in the last few days, after he also failed a medical. It was then announced last night that Petchmorakot will now face Pongsiri for the title.

The ONE: Warrior’s Code co-main will see a middleweight eliminator contest between Brazil’s Leandro Ataides and Holland’s Reinier de Ridder. Ahead of their clash, ONE Championship middleweight and light heavyweight champion Aung La Nsang, wished both athletes good luck.

Elsewhere on the ONE: Warrior’s Code card, former ONE featherweight champion Marat Gafurov moves up to lightweight to take on Iuri Lapicus.

Ahead of the card, we spoke to Leandro Ataides, Reinier de Ridder and Marat Gafurov. You can find our exclusive pre-fight interviews with them below.
