Tyson vs Holyfield 3 ‘Signed, Sealed And Delivered’

Over two decades on from their infamous rematch in 1997, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are set to face off for a third time, with both men now in their fifties.

After Tyson returned to the ring in November, Holyfield began preparing for his own comeback, as speculation grew that a trilogy fight between the two former heavyweight champions was inevitable.

According to Tyson’s close friend Zab Judah, ‘Iron’ Mike has been training everyday for the second fight of his comeback. Speaking to The Metro, the former two division world champion said that the trilogy bout with Holyfield has been ‘signed, sealed and delivered’.

“The fight is made, the fight is done, Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield part three, amazing,” Judah said. “Everything about that fight interests me, you just got to look at one and two and there’s no doubt why you wouldn’t want to watch number three, no doubt.

“The fight is signed, sealed and delivered and Mike is training everyday and Evander is training everyday, and both men are coming in there to do their job, they are not playing brother, there will be no playing. Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield part three, it’s going down, it’s going to be real. It’s going to be a great fight for a third time.”

In Tyson’s first comeback fight, he battled to a draw in an eight-round exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. Although most people felt like he did enough to win the fight.

Tyson and Holyfield have a lot of history in the boxing ring. They first fought 1996, where ‘The Real Deal’ pulled off a stunning upset victory, earning an eleventh round TKO. The second fight, however, ended controversially when ‘Iron’ Mike was disqualified for biting off a chunk of his opponent’s ear.

Their first two fights took place in Las Vegas. The third bout however, will reportedly take place in the Middle East.

“It’s going to be in Dubai, that’s what I’m hearing,” Judah stated. “That’s what the advertisement said.”
